UDHAMPUR, May 4: The young talents of APS Dhar Road were bestowed with the responsibilities during the Investiture Ceremony, here.
The inspired Students Council pledged to lead their school from the front with commitment, confidence and competence.
Brigadier R C Srikanth graced the event as the chief guest.
The programme began with a welcome song.
The chief guest and Principal Ramma Raina conferred the prefects with their duties.Head Boy (Rushal Dewan) and Head Girl (Mrinalini) received their appointment badges from the chief guest.
They were followed by other council bearers- Vice Head Boy (Khushal), Vice Head Girl (Shivanshi), Cultural Captain (Raghujeet) Cultural Vice Captain (Sana), Sports Captain (Anjali Sharma), Vice Sports Captain (Kaif), Discipline Captain (Anjali), Discipline Vice Captain (Diya), Beas House Captain (Tarun), Vice Captain (Muskan), Chenab House Captain (Padmanav), Vice Captain (Rashika), Jhelum House Captain (Radhika), Vice Captain (Dhruv), Ravi House Captain (Sujal), Vice Captain (Himani). The House Captains will deliversunder the guidance of House Mistress Priyanka Sharma (Jhelum House), Santosh Sharma (Ravi House), Pooja Verma (Chenab House) and Vimmy Dubey (Beas House).
The School facilitated Poonam Gupta (Junior Coordinator) and Rajeev Kumar Choudhary (Senior Coordinator) with badges. They pledged to deliver to their responsibilities with zeal, determination and dedication.
The student council then took the oath of office to discharge their duties with sincerity and fulfill everyone’s expectations.
In his address, the Chief Guest Brigadier RC Srikanth acknowledged the Students Council as an investment in being leaders of tomorrow.
The vote of thanks was presented by Ramma Raina, Principal of the school.
