APS extends helping hand to 2014 flood victims

JAMMU, Feb 18: Arya Pratinidhi Sabha (APS), J&K has continued extending its helping hand to the September 2014 flash floods affected persons in the State.
A team of Sabha today visited Sure Chak in Phalain Mandal area of city outskirts and distributed steel kitchen utensils besides woolen and cotton clothes to 127 affected families.
Solar Lanterns were also distributed to most deserved families whose children were reading in class 10th and above.
The items for distribution were received by Sabha from Sarvdeshik Arya Pratinidhi Sabha, Delhi. The members of team who visited the site were Bharat Bhushan Arya (president), Ravi Kant (secretary) and Subhash Gupta (library incharge, Arya Pratinidhi Sabha J&K).
