JAMMU, May 20: The programme of Investiture ceremony of APS Rakmuthi for the academic year 2014-2015 was unveiled today.
The day saw a flurry of hectic preparations for the event. The gilded sunbeams lit up the stage and there was expectancy in the air. The event was presided over by the chairman APS Rakhmuthi- Brig Harish Kukeja and Principal Shaswati Ghosh. The oath taking ceremony was led by Bhanu Pratab Singh (head boy) and Kirti Devi (head girl).
Taking the oath, the head girl and head boy, the house captains and the prefects pledged their commitment to chose harder right instead of the easier wrong. The investiture ceremony was soleminized with chief guest conferring the authority and adorning the symbols to the office bearers in a formal ceremony.
Chief guest in his motivational speech urged newly appointed office-bearers to have a clear conscience while delineating their duties. He amphasized the pressing need to uphold the office-bearers silently vowed to act as role models for the rest of the school to emulate.
The momentous ceremony ended with formal vote of thanks by our school principal. Smiling and jubilant the school authorities marched ahead immediately to take on their new office.
