MOSCOW, May 31: Arab leaders on Friday reaffirmed their unity in the face of alleged Iranian interference in other states’ affairs.
“We are reaffirming unity and solidarity of Arab countries in the face of Iranian meddling in other states’ affairs,” the states said in a joint communique of an emergency summit in Mecca, which was convened by Saudi Arabia.
The statement also condemned Iran’s interference in Bahrain’s affairs and its alleged support for terror groups.
