LONDON, June 28: Singer Aretha Franklin has revealed that she is working with rapper Andre 3000 on her forthcoming covers album.
The ‘I Say A Little Prayer’ hitmaker said it is “going to be fun” working with the Outkast star on the project, reported Digital spy.
Andre 3000, aka Andre Lauren Benjamin, will produce four tracks on the record, which features Franklin’s interpretations of songs by other female artists.
“I’m pretty sure it’s going to be fun working with Andre 3000, just watching his videos and things. It should be fun. And, of course, they all come with great music, so I expect that,” she said.
Franklin, 72, added that the album will give fans both the expected and unexpected. (PTI)
