Arhar, its dal prices up on scattered demand

NEW DELHI, July 13:  Barring a rise in arhar and its dal prices on scattered demand, other pulses held steady on the wholesale pulses market today.
Marketmen said scattered demand from retailers amid tight supplies from producing regions mainly helped arhar and its dal prices to trade higher.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety moved up by Rs 50 each to Rs 4,150-4,550 and Rs 5,850-6,050 per quintal, respectively.
The following were today’s pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 3,350-3,800, Urad Chilka (local) 4,500-4,850, best 4,900-5,400, Dhoya 5,400-5,600, Moong 5,150-5,550, Dal Moong Chilka local 5,650-6,050, Moong Dhoya local 5,800-5,900 and best quality 6,450-6,550.
Masoor small 4,300-4,500, bold 4,450-4,650, Dal Masoor local 5,000-5,100, best quality 5,050-5,150, Malka local 4,900-5,000, best 5,100-5,200, Moth 3,100-3,700, Arhar 4,150-4,550, Dal Arhar Dara 5,850-6,050.
Gram 3,100-3,800, Gram Dal (local) 3,600-3,700, best quality 3,700-3,800, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,530, Rajdhani 1,530, Rajmah Chitra 8,700-10,300, Kabli Gram small 3,750-5,750, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100; Lobia 3,500-4,900, Peas white 2,925-2,950 and green 3,025-3,175. (PTI)
