JAMMU, May 1: Army and police today busted a hideout of the militants and recovered a consignment of arms, ammunition and explosives in Chatru area of Kishtwar district.
On a tip off, a joint team of Rashtriya Rifles and police conducted searches in a field at Chatru and recovered the consignment.
Recoveries included two .303 rifles, one 12 bore rifle, one country made rifle, four UBGL grenades, 50 Pika belted rounds, 71 rounds of AK-47 rifle, two magazines of AK-47 and one magazine of 7.62 LMG.
After the recoveries, police conducted searches in the area. However, no arrests were made from the spot.
