SAMBA, Apr 21:- A joint team of CRPF and Army has busted a hideout near village Khiddian, in Smailpur area of Bari Brahmana tehsil in Samba district today.
SSP Samba, Rajesh Sharma said 38Bn CRPF accompanied by J & K Police team from Police Station, Bari Brahmana carried out a joint search operation near village Khiddian in Smailpur area of Bari Brahmana this evening at about 6 pm and recovered the arms and ammunition from the area.
” We have recovered arms and ammunition i.e. one hand grenade, 303 rounds and 20 charge clips during a routine patrolling by joint party of CRPF and police’’, he said.
However, no arrest has been made in this regard. The police is investigating the matter.
Police party in the operation was led by SHO Bari Brahmana Inspector Arjun Singh CHib.
