Srinagar, May 7: Secur-ity forces today busted a militant hideout in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition.
Police said that acting on a tip-off, a search operation was carried out by a joint team of police and Army in Kaawan, Wagila forest area of Kreeri in Baramulla district today.
Police said two pistols, three pistol magazines,11 pistol rounds, four AK 47 magazines, 22 AK 47 rounds, four UBGL rounds, five hand grenades, three RPGs, one mortar bomb and three wireless set antennas were recovered.
Police have registered a case and the search operation is still on.
