Army assists in treatment of poor child

BHADERWAH, June 13:  Rashtriya Rifles located in Bhaderwah under the aegis of Headquarter Counter Insurgency Force (Delta) today welcomed Master Amit Kotwal, son of Vijay Kotwal and resident of Gutasa, Bhaderwah, after being successfully operated for ‘Congenital Heart Disease (CHD)’ at Hero Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana.
The Battalion in collaboration with an NGO “Have a Heart” organised state of the art medical facilities for the surgery and treatment of the child as well as boarding and lodging facilities in Ludhiana.  The entire expenditure on the surgery of the child was approximately Rs 2,00,000 including another  Rs 15,000 as travel, accommodation and boarding expenditure.
The child was identified for surgery in one of the medical camps organised by the Army in Bharowa this year.
