JAMMU, July 17: An Army- BSF conclave was held in Tiger Division here.
The conclave was co-chaired by Major General Vijay Nair, GOC, Tiger Division and NS Jamwal, IG BSF, Frontier HQ Jammu.
The conclave was attended by all Brigade Commanders and DIG level officers.
All Battalion Commanders of Army and BSF deployed in Jammu also attended the conclave through video conferencing.
It was aimed at achieving greater synergy between Army and BSF and to augment capabilities of each other.
Various issues were discussed to enhance the operational preparedness of security forces deployed in Jammu in safeguarding the territorial integrity and internal security of Jammu and Kashmir.
