JAMMU, Aug 5: Army chief Gen Manoj Pande today visited 16 Corps headquarters at Nagrota and forward areas on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu region to review prevailing security situation.
Gen Pande is on two days visit of Jammu region.
He reviewed security scenario in the hinterland as well as the LoC in Rajouri and Poonch districts with the Army Commanders.
He visited forward areas and complimented Commanders and troops for their professional standard, operational preparedness and ability to thwart any threat.
He was given a detailed briefing on the situation prevailing on LoC with Pakistan in Rajouri and Poonch districts by the Army Commanders.
