SRINAGAR: A Colonel of Corps and Artilllery died in an accidental fire at Khundroo in south Kashmir district of Anantnag, a defence ministry spokesman said here this evening.
Col Rajdesh Kalia said that Col J V Mahadik was critically injured when his service went off accidentally at Corps and Artillery station headquarter at Khundroo this afternoon at 1620 hrs. However, the injured officer succumbed to his injuries, he said. (AGENCIES)
