JAMMU, May 7: Northern Command chief Lt Gen MV Suchindra Kumar accompanied by White Knight Corps chief Lt Gen Naveen Sachdeva today visited frontline units along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district and reviewed security situation.

The visit by the Army Commanders to Poonch came few days after the terror attack on IAF convoy at Surankote in Poonch district in which an IAF Warrior was martyred and five others were injured. The Northern Army Commander commended troops for their professionalism in challenging conditions and exhorted them to maintain high state of morale and motivation.
The Army Commanders briefed the Northern Command chief on the situation prevailing along the LoC as well as the hinterland.
