POONCH, July 13: Army conducted an informative lecture on ‘Skill Development Courses’ for un-employed youth of Surankote Tehsil of the district at Youth Empowerment and Guidance Node (YEGN), Surankote.
A total of 21 young impressionable minds participated in the event. The lecture was aimed at giving an insight on various courses being conducted for skill development by the State and Central Government agencies as well as corporate sector under the corporate social responsibility scheme.
These courses would enable the un-employed youth and School/College dropouts to either get jobs or to start own entrepreneurship and be financially self reliant. The initiative has received an overwhelming response from local populace.
