UDHAMPUR, July 20: The Army’s HQ 71 Sub Area under its Operation Sadbhavana project constructed a community hall in village Halqa Battal, Udhampur (J&K).
The goodwill project is an endeavour to providing basic infrastructure in remote and inaccessible area of the region. The community centre is envisaged as place where people in village can congregate for social, cultural and sports activities.
The community Hall would facilitate approx 15000 people of nearby villages and uplift the community facilities for the residents of the village and Panchayat in particular. The upcoming infrastructure project by Army would facilitate villagers to organise community functions and events. This would further strengthen the bonding between Awam and Jawan.
