Excelsior Correspondent RAJOURI, Nov 24: In an endeavour to provide an impetus to education facilities in far flung areas, Army distributed furniture items to Government Middle School, Gadyog. As part of its ‘Sadbhavna’ activities, Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, under the aegis of Uniform Force distributed furniture items to the School. Speaking on the occasion, Army officials said that this move of the Army is in response to the requisition of the school authorities and the villagers of the area, who approached the unit with a requisition of providing sitting facility to the school students, who were otherwise bound to sit on ground due to want of adequate furniture. Commanding Officer of the Battalion handed over the furniture items to the Headmaster of the School in the presence of villagers and students. The Commander also interacted with the students and motivated them to work hard in their studies for making their future bright.
