BHADERWAH, Nov 30: Continuing their mission in rural and far flung areas of Doda district as part of civic activities under ‘Operation Sadbhavana’, Sohanda 26 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters, Suigarh Sector Rashtriya Rifles (Delta Force), conducted tailoring classes and distributed sewing machine in Chirala area of Thatri tehsil here today.
It was a splendid effort by the 26 Rashtriya Rifles Battalion which trained 24 selected women in tailoring and gave machines also for making them self reliant.
The inaugural programme was attended by a large number of women from adjoining areas, local population and Sarpanchs.
The machines were distributed to the trainees by Commanding Officer.
