Army distributes training aid, study material

Srinagar, Dec 7: The army today said it distributed training aid and study material to the students of Government Middle School in MS Mir village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
A defence spokesman said catering to the aspirations of school the army provided necessary educational aid including books, classroom furniture and stationary items to the students thus bringing smiles to the children and school staff. “The function was attended by headmaster of Government Middle School, Muhammad Akbar, Sarpanch Ghulam Nabi and parents and guardians of students and all the students of the school,” he said.
“The beneficiary school staff and students reinforced that such initiatives by the Army will not only afford better opportunities for the children of Kashmir thus empowering them to face future challenges but also strengthen the bond between the people and its Army,” the spokesperson added.
