Srinagar, May 8: As part of the anti-malaria week, an awareness camp was conducted by Army at Government High School Phurah in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A defence spokesman said the causes, early detection through knowledge of symptoms and preventive measures of Malaria were briefed to the students as part of the campaign.
“Pamphlets containing elaborate information were also distributed to the children who assimilated the same with rapt attention and enthusiasm and took the pamphlets to spread awareness in their homes and locality,” he added.
