Army holds medical camp

SRINAGAR, July 30: Army organised a medical-cum-veterinary camp under Sadbhavana-XVI at village Puthkhah in Sopore town of Baramulla district.
In a release, Army spokesman said a joint team of doctors from Army and civil administration including paramedics participated in providing medical assistance to over 534 people of the village.
“Beside, 314 livestock were also treated at the camp; a mobile youth employment guidance node was also established alongside the medical camp by the Army, wherein interaction and guidance was provided to the local youth about the various career opportunities available.
The spokesman said Army has been regularly organising medical camps in the remote areas of Sopore as these areas lack of medical facilities available.
