Army hosts educational tour for KV students

REASI, Oct 17: Army hosted educational tour for 10 students of Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), New Delhi to tehsil Mahore.
The participants are accompanied by the four teachers/staff.
The touring party visited Government Higher Secondary School at Mahore and Government High School, Bagga and had an interactive session with the local students.
The participants also celebrated Eid with the local populace of Mahore, today. They were invited for lunch by MLA Abdul Gani Malik at his residence in Bagga.
MLA highlighted the pivotal role played by the Army in the various developmental projects undertaken in Mahore.
Weapons and equipment display, Volleyball match with the Army troops and evening camp fire were some of the highlights of the trip.
The participating students and teachers also visited Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine before leaving back to their native place.
General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Reasi based Counter Insurgency Force briefed the students about role played by Army in bringing peace and prosperity to the region.
