JAMMU, Apr 15: An Army Jawan died due to electrocution in Pallanwala area of Jammu.
“The Jawan was identified as Sepoy Devakar Mehato of 14 Bihar Regiment,” police sources said, while adding that the Jawan died after he received severe electric shock while working on a generator at Kachrial within the premises of 14 Bihar Regiment.
Sources said the body of the deceased Jawan was shifted to CHC Khour for postmortem examination while inquest proceeding in this connection was initiated at Police Station Khour.
