REASI, Aug 12: An Army Jawan died in a road accident when his car fell in a deep gorge at Damni Chassana, here today.
The deceased was identified as Mohd. Shabbir, son of Mohd Makhmal, resident of Arbais, Tehsil Mahore in district Reasi. He was driving the car and reportedly died on the spot.
The accident took place when the Alto car, bearing registration number JK20B- 2290, which was on its way from Sungri towards Badder in Mahore, rolled down in a deep gorge.
The deceased was working with Indian Army and had come home on leave.
