JAMMU, Dec 20: An Army jawan today died mysteriously in Ratnuchak area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, Lans Naik Lokender Kumar (34) posted in 31 Brigade, Ratnuchak, after taking his afternoon meal went in his barrack to take some rest. When, he did not got up for a long time, his colleagues became suspicious and shifted him to Military Hospital, Satwari (Jammu), where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
Later, the dead body of the jawan was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for post mortem. After conducting post mortem, the body was handed over to Army.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
