JAMMU, Feb 9: An Army soldier was injured in sniper fire from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district today.
Official sources said Pakistan army in violation of ceasefire fired sniper shot targeting an Army post at Kalal along the LoC in Nowshera sector this afternoon.
In the incident, an Army soldier identified as Sepoy Satish Kumar suffered bullet wound in his abdomen.
Troops evacuated him from the spot and airlifted him to Army’s Command hospital in Udhampur for treatment.
