JAMMU, Sept 2: An Army jawan was injured today when terrorists opened fire from outside the Sunjwan military station in Jammu.
The attack took place around 1100 hours, with gunshots targeting the Santry Post, manned by the 36 Infantry Brigade.
In retaliation, Army personnel also opened the fire, and a massive search operation was immediately launched in the area.
Reports said that suspected terrorists were spotted near the Sunjwan Army Camp, close to Jammu Darbar, prompting joint efforts by the Army and police to track down the assailants.
