SAMBA, Mar 20 : An Army jawan, Naresh Kumar bearing No. 7242527F of 168 Brigade in Army Dog Squad who was posted at Army Cantt Maheshwar Samba committed suicide by shooting himself with pistol today.
Police said that Yadav shoot himself with his pistol in the head at 10.00 am this morning in his residential quarter in 168 Brigade.
The dead body of Yadav a resident of Rajasthan was shifted to Military Hospital Samba and then to District Hospital Samba for the postmortem. Samba Police rushed to the spot and took the pistol in the custody. The Police also registered a case under relevant sections of the law and started investigation. After postmortem dead body was handed over to 168 Brigade.
Reason behind this incident are yet be ascertained, police said, adding the investigation has been started.
