MENDHAR, Mar 28: An Army jawan committed suicide by using his own service weapon near the Line of Control in Balakote area last evening.
A police official said that Sepoy Kailash Kumar of 49 RR was on duty in the forward area. He allegedly fired a bullet on his head and committed suicide. He hailed from Bagiapur village of district Badan in UP. After postmortem, the body was sent to his home village. The police has registered a case in this connection.
