DODA, Mar 15: Army kicked off the five-day long recruitment rally here today.
As per Defence spokesperson, 159 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) (Home and Hearth) Dogra organised recruitment rally for the youth at Sports Stadium, here.
This recruitment rally is being conducted for Udhampur, Kishtwar, Ramban and Doda Districts to recruit domicile persons as General Duty and from entire State of J&K except District Samba and Kathua for Tradesman and Clerks at Sports Stadium from March 15 to 19.
Today the rally was conducted for District Udhampur for the age group of 18 to 42 years, wherein a total of 1778 candidates appeared for recruitment today.
800 candidates were selected for ground events after initial screening of documents and out of these 92 candidates cleared the ground events and qualified for the next recruitment stage.
