Army nabs 2 suspects

JAMMU, June 15: Army today apprehended two PoK citizens when they were moving close to the Line of Control (LoC) in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district and Nowshera sector of Rajouri district.
The suspected arrested in Krishna Ghati sector has been identified as Ghulam Mohammad Hussain son of Mohammad Alam Din, a resident of village Nandedi, in Kotli area of PoK.
SSP Poonch Shamsheer Hussain said the suspect is being quizzed for his militant links and would also be sent to JIC Jammu.
Reports said troops of 13 Raj Rifles apprehended the 60 years old civilian while moving close to the LoC under mysterious circumstances.
Troops quizzed Ghulam Mohammad and then handed him over to local police for further questioning to ascertain his motive behind roaming near the LoC.
A PoK citizen Mohammad Faryad, 65, son of Rehman Dad, a resident of village Panjyari in Kotli district of PoK was arrested by the troops at Janghar in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district.
He was also being quizzed and was likely to be repatriated to Pakistan Army as it appeared that he had crossed the LoC inadvertently.
