Army organises medical camp

DODA, Dec 24: Army organised a free Medical camp for local masses as part of ‘Operation Sadhbhavana’, at village Sharekh in Bhaderwah today.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr Hameed Zargar, BMO, Bhaderwah, who highlighted the significant contributions made by the locals for prevailing situation in the State. A medical team comprising of seven doctors (six male and one lady doctor) provided the much needed specialised medical cover to the ladies, children and elderly people in the camp.
A large number of patients turned up for the free medical check-up from the nearby villages including Sharekhi, Thanala, Butla and Sitengal. This camp was organised by making necessary arrangements of various types of medicines, medical equipment and facilities for examination of patients. Wide publicity was also given to ensure that maximum people avail the opportunity of attending the free medical camp. During the camp a total of 414 patients were treated.
