REASI, Aug 26: Rashtriya Rifles at Kalakote in collaboration with Department of Agriculture, Rajouri, organised an Apiculture Awareness Camp for the farmers and unemployed youth, at Mahu here today.
In all 45 farmers/unemployed youth from the remote and backward areas of Mahu, Phali, Sialsui and Mal Gujra attended the camp.
During the camp, the farmers and unemployed youth were imparted an exposure insight about the new dimension on commercial farming.
Mohd Aftar said that apiculture has the biggest success stories of commercial farming under low budget around these areas. He further added that all possible assistance and guidance would be rendered to the farmers who want to pursue apiculture from the Department of Agriculture, Rajouri.
