BARAMULLA, May 11: Army today organized a COVID-19 awareness camp for the people of Pattan here.
The initiative was aimed at educating the villagers of the remote region on Coronavirus, its symptoms and protective measures so as to stem the tide of second wave of the pandemic.
All COVID-19 protocols were followed in conduct of the camp during which talk on symptoms and preventive measures on COVID-19 was delivered by Sabir Mohd Dar, Teacher of Palpora village in Pattan.
After the talk, COVID-19 essentials items like masks, sanitizers and informative pamphlets were distributed among the villagers.
A total of 45 village representatives of the area attended the awareness camp.
