Srinagar, Mar 19: Army organized “Children Personality Development Week” in order to promote sports and cultural activities in Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
An Army spokesman said that on March 17, “Inter School Cultural Competition” was conducted in this connection.
He said a total of 200 students and 45 teachers from various schools including Rahatghar participated in the cultural extravaganza. “The students competed in group song, group dance, solo song and skit events.
Speaking on the occasion GOC appreciated the participants and teachers for a wonderful program. He also extended his appreciation to Ziran Army Camp for organizing such an event and giving the students of Tangmarg an opportunity to showcase their talents.
