BHADERWAH, Jan 19: The Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhadarwah under the aegis of the Counter Insurgency Force (Delta) organized a ‘Friendly T20 Cricket Match’ between Army Eleven and a mixed team of SDM Bhadarwah and staff of Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu’, here today.
Bhupinder Kumar, SDM Bhadarwah inaugurated the friendly match in presence of Prof GM Bhat, Rector, Bhaderwah Campus Jammu University, ASP and Second-in-Command of Rashriya Rifles.
The match was closely contested and the ‘Army Eleven’ won by 12 runs. After the conclusion of the match, prizes were distributed among trhe winners and runner-up teams.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest, Bhupinder Kumar highlighted the importance of national integrity and amity amongst different communities of the region and also expressed his gratitude to Army on organizing such a memorable cricket match.
