JAMMU, June 18: Under Project Udaan, Army organized telephonic interview for job aspiring youths of Kishtwar and Doda districts in Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Kolkata.
The Youth Employment Guidance Nodes (YEGN) at both places were activated by the Army to make these interview successful. The youth registered with the nodes were contacted and informed about the telephonic interview.
Thirty-nine candidates appeared for the interview at both locations. The selected candidates will undergo ‘on the Job Training’ at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Kolkata for 14 weeks. The Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will provide free travel by air, free boarding and lodging during the training. The trainees will also be paid a stipend of Rs 200 per day.
Selected candidates will be paid stipend of Rs 15,000 every month for the first year on successful selection as Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) employees. There was overwhelming response from the youth of both the districts.
