Army organizes medical camp

KALAKOTE (REASI), July 4: As a part of welfare activities and to ameliorate the problems of the people, a medical camp was organized by Rashtriya Rifle Battalion under aegis of Reasi based Headquarters at remote village Beena.
The camp witnessed an unprecedented response from the populace as people from adjacent villages also came to attend the camp including prominent members of civil administration and number of Numbardar, Panchs and Sarpanchs.
A team of Army and civil doctors along with Nursing Assistants attended the patients arriving in the camp. A total 305 patients which included 152 men, 78 women and 75 children benefited from the camp.
Apart from medical checkup patients were provided with free medicines by the Army. The patients were examined and the critical cases were referred to CHC Kalakote for further treatment.
Patients who were treated in the camp also requested the Army to increase the frequency of such camps in the area.
