Army organizes medical camp

Srinagar, Nov 30: Army today organised a free medical camp at Tsaraligund village of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A defence spokesman said a team of army and civil medical doctors including specialists from District Hospital Pulwama and Sub District Hospital (SDH) Tral attended the camp and provided quality medical treatment for the needy sections of society of Tsaraligund and neighbouring villages.
“Referrals were also made for the needy for further specialized treatment. The locals were also educated about various diseases, basic health hygiene, sanitation and drug abuse,” he said.
The spokesman said the camp received an overwhelming response by the locals where in over 500 people including men, women and children turned up for the medical treatment.
