KALAKOTE, Sept 17: Rashtriya Rifle Battalion under aegis of Reasi based Rashtriya Rifle Headquarter organized a medical camp at village Sarhoti.
During the camp, a team of Army doctors and civilian doctors including Dr Suresh Gupta, BMO, CHC Kalakote, Dr Rohit Sharma, CHC Treyath alongwith nursing assistant and lady nurses examined the patients.
A total 352 patients including 162 men, 116 women and 74 children were examined during the camp.
Apart from medical checkup, free medicines were provided to the patients by the Army.
On the occasion, dental patients were also examined and the critical cases were referred to the hospitals for further treatment. Lectures on “pre-natal and post natal care” and “prevention against Malaria” were conducted for gents and ladies separately, during which they were educated upon the methods and benefits.
