Army organizes Medical Camp

Medical camp organised by Northern Command Hospital in full swing at Chenani on Sunday.

UDHAMPUR, Nov 24: Command Hospital under the directions of HQ Northern Command today conducted a multi speciality Medical Camp at village Sudhmahadev in the remote area at Chenani- Sudhmahadev-Mantalai axis.
The camp was inaugurated by Lt Gen HS Sachdev, SM, Chief of Staff (COS), Northern Command, and a local lady in presence of a large number of civil and military officials.
The camp was a huge success as villagers could avail super speciality treatment along with latest diagnostics for the first time in their lives.
The camp was organised on the request of villagers as the area is deprived of medical facilities and geographically backward besides no camp was held in that area in the last ten years.
A total number of 2538 patients availed the benefits at the camp. The services of super specialists in the field of Ophthalmology, ENT, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, Plastic surgery, dental and pathology were provided along with ECG, X-Ray and lab facilities.
Free consultation and free medicines were also provided to all the patients.
