SOPORE, Aug 5: A Medical -cum-Veterinary Camp was organized by 52 Rashtyriya Rifles under Sadbhavana-XVIII at Village Pethsir, Sopore, today.
This was organized in response to the request by the locals of the area for medical attention.
A joint team of doctors from Army and Civil Administration including lady doctors, nursing assistants and paramedics attended the camp.
Over 500 people including men, women and children participated in the camp to receive medical attention.
Around 350 Livestock were also treated at the Camp. A team of one veterinary doctor with two assistants were present to treat the Livestock.
Handouts on Himayat project launched by Govt of India were distributed on the occasion and a lecture on ‘Health & Hygiene’ was also conducted.
Various stalls were also displayed on the occasion.
