Army organizes seminar in Sopore College

Srinagar, Mar 8: Army today organised an interactive youth seminar for students at Government Degree College in Sopore Town of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A defence spokesman said the seminar was conducted by thirteen Civil Services aspirants from Pune who made the youth aware of the various avenues available to them after Class XII and also provided the local students an exposure to the methodology and techniques of studying and preparing for prestigious national level examinations.
“The visiting team came from various fields ranging from Engineering, Pharmacy, Mana-gement and Education. The team also gave the youth a peek into the efforts and methods involved in preparation for Civil Services examination,” he said.
Speaking on the occasion, which was attended by students various Higher Secondary Schools and Army Goodwill School of Sopore, the Watlab Garrison Commander highlighted the role of youth in nation building and that education was a must for the youth to enable themselves to play that role effectively and meaningfully.
