RAJOURI, Apr 9: The Army is conducting pre- recruitment training for the youth of Rajouri-Poonch districts for a duration of four weeks at village Harni in Poonch sector.
Thirty youth have joined the training so far. The training is aimed at preparing the youth as per the requirements of recruitment standards for Army and Para military forces. In addition, to create additional employment opportunities in the Corporate sector too, certain vocational and soft skills coaching have also been added in the curriculum apart from the basic physical fitness and written examination training. The training imparted is expected to instill confidence and also improve the physical as well as written test standards of the candidates.
Candidates are also looking at it as an opportunity to enhance and improve their personal and social conduct skills. This friendly step taken by the Army will be creating more employment opportunities, lead to positive interaction, social development and foster healthy environment amongst the youth coming from far flung and isolated areas of Rajouri district.
The response to the initiative was overwhelming and the trainees are hopeful that the training imparted will help them succeed in enrollment in Army, Paramilitary Forces and Corporate sector.
