Srinagar, Nov 21: Army today provided stationary and furniture items to a High School in Rawalpora area here. A defence spokesman said the army provided stationary, furniture, library books and other school accessories to Merlin High School. “The library books, being an integral tool for holistic development of students, would play a key role in encouraging innovation and curiosity among them,” he said.
The Headmaster of Merlin High School thanked Army for its efforts and empowering the school to continue its mission of providing quality education to the children for their brighter tomorrow, he said.
“The smile and hope that we saw on the children’s faces made the whole effort every bit worthwhile,” the defence spokesman quoting army persons present on the occasion said.
