JAMMU, Apr 10: Army today came in rescue of the people of Village Fariyabad in Batote, who were left homeless by recent rains and landslides and provided them tents.
Like many people of remote areas, the villagers of Fariyabad in Batote had lost their homes in recent rains and landslides and were rendered shelter less.
Seeing their apathy, the Armed Forces under Delta Force provided full assistance and provided 20 tents for establishment of temporary relief camp.
The Tehsildar Batote and sarpanches and panches of the area were also present on the occasion.
