JAMMU, Dec 22: As a part of its welfare measure and better future of the students, Army Public School Domana organized an educational cum motivational tour to Amritsar and Kapurthala.
A group of 84 students along with four teachers left for the venue. The tour group was flagged off by Col Anil Tahlan, Dy Cdr Chenab Brigade, Dr Renu Gupta, Principal and other staff members.
The tour itinerary includes visiting Jallianwala Bagh, Golden Temple, Wagha Border at Amritsar and Sainik School, Rail Coach Factory & Science City at Kapurthala besides other places of historical importance.  The main aim of the tour is to provide the students the first hand experience of these historical places in North India. The tour will provide these students an opportunity to think, explore, see, interact and understand various historical facts of India.
The school has always been very particular with respect to the overall development of the students especially their social upliftment. The group of the students comprises of 50 boys and 34 girls. The escorting team of teachers includes Varinder Singh, PGT, Sita Ram Sharma, TGT, Amita Sharma, PRT and Reetika Sharma, PRT.
