Aged 9-17, the three children were apprehended by the Indian Army when they crossed LoC in Poonch sector a day before through their well coordinated effective surveillance network. Fourth child ran back to Pakistan and wasn’t fired upon by the troops after realizing that he was a teenager.
On interaction, the children disclosed that they belonged to Chhatra and Troti Dharamshal villages falling close to the LoC in Pakistan occupied Jammu Kashmir (PoJK) and had crossed the line for fishing.
