Army starts entrepreneurship training for unemployed youth

REASI, Dec 19: With an endeavour to promote self employment through entrepreneurship, the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Bagga under the aegis of Rashtriya Rifles Counter Insurgency Uniform Force Headquarters, Reasi, is organizing a course for the unemployed youth of the region at Government Higher Secondary School, Mahore.
The course is being organized in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI). 57 youth including two girls are attending the course under ‘Project Himayat’ as part of Skills Employment and Employability (SEE) scheme of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.
The project under the aegis of Operation Sadbhavana aims to provide opportunity for the unemployed youth of the area to start their own enterprise and provide impetus to the tenacious economy of the region.
