Arora kick starts construction of rotary

JAMMU, Mar 21: Construction work of rotary at Amphalla Chowk near Central Jail was kick started by MLC Ramesh Arora in presence of Executive Engineer Municipality Parmod Kumar, AEE Saraf and other staff members of municipality as well as local people.
The rotary will be reconstructed and developed on modern lines at a cost of Rs 3.50 lakh. Sitting arrangement will also be made and ultimately the rotary will be developed in a manner which become example for others said Arora. He assured contribution of more requested funds if needed to complete the development project.
Arora while addressing the gathering said that we are marching towards smart city and it is the responsibility of each and every individual to contribute in Swach Bharat Abhihan because only construction of good roads and rotaries will not spice the purpose unless and until all decides to keep their area clean and people present on spot pledged for the same.
He, while pointing towards the demand for alternative road from Bantalab-Janipur to Manda said it will be completed very soon and this matter was also discussed in District Development Board meeting at Jammu.
Arora further assured that a zone for Rehriswala is being created and for keeping city clean all will be shifted in the area demarcated for them.
